Where does the course take place?
The Elite Training Academy will take place at the prestigious Nottingham University Sports Complex.
Where do I stay?
All of our players will stay on campus for 5 nights at Nottingham University. Every player will have his own individual bedroom. Every room also comes with free Wi-Fi and a small fridge for storing drinks and snacks.
Where do I get food?
We will provide throughout the 5-day event. You will have the choice of the various canteens and restaurants within the campus. Breakfast and Evening Meal are included as part of your package.
Do I need my own kit?
No, we will provide you with a fresh Nike kit each morning before training. The only things you need to bring are your own football boots, shin pads and casual clothes for use in your leisure time.
Are goalkeepers given specialist training?
Yes, goalkeepers will receive specialist coaching throughout the week. Our current goalkeeping coach is Sal Bibbo who was previously first team goalkeeping coach at Reading FC.
What age group will I be in?
You will be placed into a team based on your current age. We will have several age groups including Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s, Under 16s, Under17s, Under 18s and Over 18s.
Are parents welcome to watch?
From Monday to Thursday the players will be in training and we would ask for privacy so that the players can bond with their teammates. However, on the Friday (the final day) then parents are more than welcome to come along and watch the event. We will be kicking off at 11am and the event will be finished by 4pm.
